Operations Team Update - 15 March 2010

The shop's Operations team is meeting regularly and dividing up all the different tasks between its members.  We are putting together a list of local suppliers to contact to see what they can offer us in terms of stock and pricing and maybe you can help us with some recommendations!  Do you have any favourite local suppliers for meat or cheese or bread?  Have you tried a particularly good, locally produced sausage or loaf?  If so, email us at brightwellvillagestores@gmail.com and we can check out what they have to offer.

  1. I don't want to teach my grandmother to suck eggs, but have you thought of using Sustainable Wallingford's Buy Local guide? If not, it's available online at http://www.sustainablewallingford.org/buy-local/

    (I remembered it when I went online to check out Viv and Steve Moll's bee website... A friend gave me a pair of their wonderful candles for my birthday. The shop should definitely stock these!)
